Getting started...

As soon as you have downloaded your DVD/USB image, you need to create a bootdisk in order to try it out. HOLOS is distributed over the Internet as a 'live image' (.iso) file. Unlike a regular data file, the ISO file can not be simply dragged and dropped, or copied directly onto a disc. It needs to be burned in a specific way that extracts the image so that you can start your computer from this disc. A ready to boot DVD or USB stick can also be purchased directly from us. Logging in to HOLOS

After booting HOLOS, you will see a login prompt. The default user name and password to access HOLOS are as follows.

LOGIN:      user
PASSWORD: zaq12wsx

Note that when logging in on a secure HOLOS console you will not see your password as you type it in. This feature provides extra security.
